Attendants consumed 51,629 hot dogs that game, or an average of 1.79 dogs per fan (DPF). During the game against the Yankees on May 16, Jays fans broke their own record for the number of hot dogs consumed in a single game, with chart-topping 61,111 dogs devoured.
Jays fans put away a total of 444,854 Loonie Dogs last year. With 8 games still left to go this season and almost 113,000 hot dogs already demolished, it feels like they’re just getting started. DPF averages have already climbed much higher, from 1.18 last year to 1.76 in the first two games.

Started in 2019, the Schneider’s Loonie Dog promotion returned in full-force last year after a brief COVID-related hiatus. The dollar dogs are available every Tuesday home game at the Roger’s Centre.
