She then begins to lick the ice cream container. Asia returns the tub to the freezer and the pair run back down the aisle.

“Come on, let’s run, let’s run,” Tequan says while laughing.

The 19-second video has now been deleted after garnering over 6 million views, however, angry viewers took to social media to express their discontent.

After receiving a slew of angry comments, Tequan later claimed on his Instagram page that the couple bought the tub of ice cream and it was all a prank.

“This is the ice cream that y’all said we licked and put back on the shelf. It was our ice cream, it was already paid for,” he says.

“We did that to fool y’all, it was a prank,” he continues.

An investigation into the couple’s prank was opened by the Virginia State Police who determined that Tequan and Asia did in fact purchase the tub of ice cream.
